rmEotaxin

Alternative Names: Small inducible cytokine A11, SCYA11, CCL11, Eosinophil chemotactic protein, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 11, MGC22554.

CCL11, also known as eotaxin, belongs to the CC chemokine family and plays a role in recruiting eosinophils during allergic responses. Its effects are mediated through binding to specific chemokine receptors, including CCR2, CCR3, and CCR5. The gene for human CCL11 (scya11) is located on chromosome 17 and consists of three exons.

Product Description

Recombinant Rhesus Macaque Eotaxin (CCL11) is a chemokine protein belonging to the CC chemokine family. This protein plays a role in the recruitment of eosinophils to sites of inflammation. With a molecular weight of approximately 8.6 kDa, Recombinant Rhesus Macaque Eotaxin (CCL11) is commonly used in research studies to investigate the mechanisms of allergic reactions and inflammatory responses in primates.

Storage Instruction

Lyophilized Eotaxin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Eotaxin should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Eotaxin Recombinant in sterile distilled H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
