RARRES1

Alternative Names: Recombinant Human Retinoic Acid Receptor Responder 1, Retinoic acid receptor responder protein 1 isoform 1, Retinoic acid receptor responder protein 1, RAR-responsive protein TIG1, RARRES1, TIG1.

Retinoic Acid Receptor Responder 1 (RARRES1) is a member of the TIGs family, which function similarly to tumor suppressor genes in human cancers. TIGs are highly expressed in skin, hair follicles, endothelial cells, pancreas, spleen, and intestine. They play a role in regulating growth and are involved in the growth suppressive effects of retinoids.

Product Description

Recombinant Human Retinoic Acid Receptor Responder 1 (RARRES1) is a protein that belongs to the retinoic acid receptor family. With a molecular weight of approximately X kDa, RARRES1 plays a significant role in various biological processes. It acts as a transcriptional regulator, modulating gene expression in response to retinoic acid signaling. This protein exhibits potential implications in cancer development and progression, making it a subject of interest in oncology research. Understanding the functional mechanisms and interactions of RARRES1 can provide valuable insights into the underlying molecular pathways involved in disease pathogenesis.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
