mMIP 3b

Alternative Names: Small inducible cytokine A19, SCYA19, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19, CKb11, CCL19, MIP-3b, MIP3B, Macrophage inflammatory protein 3 beta, MIP-3- beta, Beta chemokine exodus-3, CK beta-11, EBI1-ligand chemokine, Epstein-Barr virus-induced molecule 1 ligand chemokine, ELC, MGC34433.

CCL19, also known as ELC or MIP-3-beta, is a small cytokine in the CC chemokine family. It is predominantly expressed in the thymus and lymph nodes, with lower levels found in other organs such as the trachea and colon. CCL19 functions by binding to the chemokine receptor CCR7, attracting immune cells like dendritic cells and antigen-engaged B cells.

Product Description

Recombinant Mouse Macrophage Inflammatory protein-3 beta (CCL19) is a chemokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. With a molecular weight of approximately 8.5 kDa, CCL19 plays a role in immune response by attracting and activating immune cells such as dendritic cells and T cells. This chemokine is involved in the regulation of lymphocyte trafficking and is a key player in the inflammatory process.

Product Guarantee

If your product is within its expiration period, and has not performed according to expectations, fill out the sample return form. Return the unused sample frozen, with the auto generated packing slip to the address on the instructions. You will receive a full refund along with a replacement of the unused portion (inclusive of the failed test). Damages do not cover any additional costs incurred for failed experimentation.

Amino Acid Sequence

The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be, Gly-Ala-Asn-Asp-Ala.

Storage Instruction

Lyophilized MIP-3b although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL19 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3b in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
