CCL7 is a small chemokine belonging to the CC chemokines subfamily, with two cysteine residues in its mature protein. It attracts monocytes and regulates macrophage function, produced by certain tumor cell lines and macrophages. It is located on chromosome 17 and is closely related to CCL2/MCP1.

Recombinant Human Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-3 (CCL7) is a chemokine belonging to the CC subfamily. It plays a role in the recruitment and activation of monocytes, as well as in the regulation of inflammatory responses. With a molecular weight of approximately 11 kDa, CCL7 is involved in the immune response and inflammatory processes within the body. Its function is to attract monocytes to sites of inflammation, contributing to the overall immune response.

Storage Instruction

Lyophilized MCP-3 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL7 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-3in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
