CCL6 is a small cytokine found in rodents, predominantly expressed in neutrophil and macrophage lineage cells. Expression is significantly increased in response to myeloid cell differentiation conditions and GM-CSF stimulation. Gene expression is also observed in certain myeloid cell lines, but reduced in activated T cell lines. CCL6 can be induced by interleukin 13 in the mouse lung and is located on chromosome 11. The cell surface receptor for CCL6 is likely CCR1.

Storage Instruction

Lyophilized C10 protein although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL6 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized C10 protein in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
