Leptin qA

Alternative Names: Not Available

Recombinant Human Leptin Quadruple Antagonist is a bioengineered protein that belongs to the family of leptin antagonists. With a molecular weight of [insert weight], this synthetic compound is designed to inhibit the activity of leptin, a hormone primarily involved in regulating energy balance and appetite. By acting as an antagonist, it blocks the binding of leptin to its receptors, thus modulating the signaling pathways associated with leptin activity. This Recombinant Human Leptin Quadruple Antagonist offers potential applications in research and therapeutic interventions related to metabolic disorders and obesity.

Product Guarantee

If your product is within its expiration period, and has not performed according to expectations, fill out the sample return form. Return the unused sample frozen, with the auto generated packing slip to the address on the instructions. You will receive a full refund along with a replacement of the unused portion (inclusive of the failed test). Damages do not cover any additional costs incurred for failed experimentation.

Amino Acid Sequence

The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-Val-Pro-Ile-Gln.

Storage Instruction

Lyophilized Leptin Antagonist Quadruple Mutant although stable at room temperature for several weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution at > 0.1 Leptin mutant mg/ml and up to 2 mM and filter sterilization LEP mutant can be stored at 4°C or even room temperature for several weeks making it suitable for long term infusion studies using osmotic pumps. At lower concentration addition of a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is suggested. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. Sample Prep Instruction

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Leptin Antagonist Quadruple Mutant in sterile 0.4% NaHCO3 adjusted to pH 8-9, not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
