IL12, Sf9

Alternative Names: Interleukin 12 (subunit beta/alpha), IL-12, 23-219aa (IL12A) / 23-328aa (IL12B), IL12 His, NKSF1, NKSF, CTL maturation factor (TCMF), Cytotoxic lymphocyte maturation factor (CLMF), TSF, Edodekin-alpha.

The cytokine interleukin 12 subunit beta/alpha (IL12b/IL12a) is a growth factor that enhances the lytic activity of NK/lymphokine-activated killer cells, activated T cells, and NK cells. It also prompts the production of IFN-gamma by resting PBMCs. IL12b/IL12a plays an important role in cellular immunity by activating the differentiation of Th1 cells from precursor T helper cells. It is associated with IL23A and together they form the IL-23 interleukin, which leads to the development of autoimmune inflammation and affects autoimmune inflammatory diseases and tumorigenesis.

Product Description

Recombinant Human Interleukin 12, Sf9 is a bioengineered protein that belongs to the family of cytokines, specifically the interleukin family. With a molecular weight of approximately X kDa, this protein plays a significant role in the regulation of immune responses. It acts as a potent stimulator of natural killer cells and T lymphocytes, promoting the production of interferon-gamma and other cytokines. This recombinant protein is widely utilized in research and pharmaceutical applications for its immunomodulatory properties and its potential therapeutic implications in various diseases.
