Product Description
Recombinant Human Polypeptide N-Acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 1 is a glycosyltransferase enzyme that belongs to the glycosyltransferase 27 family. It plays a key role in the biosynthesis of mucin-type O-glycans by catalyzing the transfer of N-acetylgalactosamine to serine or threonine residues. With a molecular weight of approximately 50 kDa, this enzyme is involved in post-translational modifications of proteins and is essential for proper cell function.
