Product Description
Human Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is a glycoprotein hormone that belongs to the gonadotropin family. It plays a critical role in the regulation of reproductive processes, specifically in the development and maturation of ovarian follicles in females and sperm production in males. FSH has a molecular weight of approximately 30.5 kDa and is produced by the anterior pituitary gland in response to gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus. Its levels fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle, peaking just before ovulation.
