FCER1A 201 a.a.

Alternative Names: Fc Fragment Of IgE, High Affinity I Receptor For; Alpha Polypeptide, FCE1A, IgE Fc Receptor Subunit Alpha, FcERI, Fc-Epsilon RI-Alpha, Fc Epsilon RI Alpha-Chain, Fc IgE Receptor, Alpha Polypeptide, High Affinity Immunoglobulin Epsilon Receptor Alpha-Subunit, High Affinity Immunoglobulin Epsilon Receptor Subunit Alpha, High-Affinity Immunoglobulin E Receptor Of Mast Cells, Alpha Polypeptide.

The FC fragment of IgE, high affinity I, receptor for; alpha polypeptide (FCER1A) is a receptor that specifically binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulins epsilon. FCER1A is a high affinity receptor that plays a critical role in initiating allergic responses. When an allergen binds to IgE that is already bound to the receptor, it triggers the activation of cells and the release of mediators like histamine, which causes the symptoms of allergies. The receptor is made up of an alpha subunit, a beta subunit, and two gamma subunits, with FCER1A referring to the alpha subunit. Diseases associated with FCER1A include mast-cell leukemia and allergic asthma.

Product Description

Recombinant Human IgE Receptor Subunit A is a protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system. Belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily, this receptor subunit is involved in the binding and signaling of immunoglobulin E (IgE), a type of antibody. With a molecular weight of approximately X kDa, this protein is a key component in the immune response against allergens and parasitic infections. Understanding the structure and function of Recombinant Human IgE Receptor Subunit A contributes to the development of therapeutic strategies targeting allergic and immune-related disorders.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
