CSF2RA is a gene that encodes the alpha subunit of the receptor for colony stimulating factor 2, a cytokine responsible for regulating the function of granulocytes and macrophages. CSF2RA is part of the cytokine receptor family and is located in the pseudoautosomal region of the X and Y chromosomes. Various transcript variants exist, encoding different isoforms of the gene, some of which are membrane-bound and others are soluble. Diseases linked to CSF2RA include surfactant metabolism dysfunction, pulmonary 4, and csf2ra-related pulmonary surfactant metabolism dysfunction.

Recombinant Human GM-CSF Receptor Alpha Sf9 is a protein that belongs to the cytokine receptor family. It plays a role in the immune system by binding to granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and initiating signaling pathways. This receptor has a molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa. Its expression in Sf9 insect cells allows for the production of large quantities of functional protein for research purposes.
