The activation of NF-kappaB and MAPK8/JNK is a result of CD27 receptor signals, facilitated by adaptor proteins TRAF2 and TRAF5. Additionally, the proapoptotic protein known as CD27-binding protein (SIVA) binds to the CD27 receptor, playing a role in the apoptosis triggered by CD27.
