CDK5RAP3

Alternative Names: CDK5 Regulatory Subunit Associated Protein 3, CDK5 Activator-Binding Protein C53, CDK5 Regulatory Subunit Associated Protein IC53-2, CDK5 Regulatory Subunit-Associated Protein 3, Ischemic Heart CDK5 Activator-Binding Protein C53, LXXLL/Leucine-Zipper-Containing ARF-Binding Protein, LXXLL/Leucine-Zipper-Containing ARFbinding Protein, Protein HSF-27, OK/SW-Cl.114, HSF-27, MST016, PP1553, LZAP, C53, CDK5RAP3.

CDK5 Regulatory Subunit Associated Protein 3 (CDK5RAP3) is a potential regulator of CDK5 activity. It interacts with CDK5R, which is involved in neuronal differentiation. CDK5 is the catalytic subunit, and p25NCK5A is the activating subunit of neuronal CDC2-like kinase. CDK5RAP3 binds to p25NCK5A and may play a role in neuronal differentiation.

Product Description

Recombinant Human CDK5 Regulatory Subunit Associated Protein 3 (CDK5RAP3) is a protein that plays a significant role in various cellular processes. Belonging to the CDK5 regulatory subunit-associated protein family, CDK5RAP3 acts as a scaffold protein, facilitating the assembly of protein complexes involved in cell division, DNA repair, and centrosome duplication. With a molecular weight of approximately X kDa, CDK5RAP3's presence is crucial for the proper functioning of these fundamental cellular mechanisms, making it an essential component in maintaining cellular homeostasis.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
