CDC37

Alternative Names: Cell Division Cycle 37, CDC37, CDC-37, CDC37A, P50CDC37, Hsp90 co-chaperone Cdc37, Hsp90 chaperone protein kinase-targeting subunit.

CDC37 is an essential protein in Saccharomyces cerevisiae that acts as a molecular chaperone in cell signal transduction. It forms a complex with the Hsp90 molecular chaperone, as well as with various protein kinases including CDK4, CDK6, SRC, RAF-1, MOK, and eIF2 alpha kinases. CDC37 is up-regulated in early stages of localized human cancers, particularly in prostate tumor cells. It plays a role in regulating Hsp90 ATPase activity and binds to Akt and HSP90 in the signal transduction pathway in human tumor cells. The recruitment and activation of the IKK complex by Tnf require CDC37 and Hsp90. CDC37 and heat shock protein 90 specifically bind to the kinase domain of LKB1. These findings suggest that CDC37 could be a potential target for multitargeted therapies.

Product Description

Recombinant Human Cell Division Cycle 37 (CDC37) is a protein that belongs to the family of cell division cycle proteins. With a molecular weight of approximately X kDa, CDC37 plays a significant role in regulating the cell cycle and promoting proper protein folding and stability. This protein acts as a chaperone, assisting the folding and assembly of client proteins involved in cell growth and proliferation. The recombinant form of CDC37 is widely used in scientific research and drug development studies to investigate its interactions with various client proteins and their implications in cellular processes.

Product Guarantee

If your product is within its expiration period, and has not performed according to expectations, fill out the sample return form. Return the unused sample frozen, with the auto generated packing slip to the address on the instructions. You will receive a full refund along with a replacement of the unused portion (inclusive of the failed test). Damages do not cover any additional costs incurred for failed experimentation.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
