CD276

Alternative Names: CD276 Molecule, CD276 Antigen, Costimulatory Molecule, B7 Homolog 3, 4Ig-B7-H3, B7-H3, B7H3, B7RP-2

CD276 is an immunoregulatory protein found on the surface of T cells. It plays a role in T cell activation and the production of IFN-gamma. CD276 also helps prevent DNA damage caused by the chemotherapy drug 5-Fu by increasing the expression of BRCC3. It has been observed that CD276 levels are associated with the stage of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and may serve as a biomarker for tumors originating from NSCLC. CD276 has been found to inhibit the destruction of tumor cells by natural killer cells and can be used as a marker for the detection of neuroblastoma cells. Additionally, CD276 is involved in both acute and chronic transplant rejection and helps regulate the activity of lymphocytes at mucosal surfaces. Moreover, CD276 plays a role in creating an appropriate immunological environment for the placenta and fetus during pregnancy.

Product Description

Recombinant Human CD276, also known as B7-H3, is a protein belonging to the B7 family of immune checkpoint molecules. With a molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa, CD276 plays a significant role in regulating immune responses and has garnered attention for its potential as a therapeutic target in cancer immunotherapy. This recombinant protein is widely studied for its involvement in T-cell activation, tumor progression, and immune evasion mechanisms. Understanding the molecular characteristics and functions of CD276 contributes to the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
