CD247, Sf9

Alternative Names: CD247 Molecule, CD247 Antigen, CD247 Antigen, Zeta Subunit, TCR Zeta Chain, TCRZ, T-Cell Receptor T3 Zeta Chain, T-Cell Surface Glycoprotein CD3 Zeta Chain, T-Cell Antigen Receptor Complex, Zeta Subunit Of CD3, CD3Z Antigen, Zeta Polypeptide (TiT3 Complex), CD3z Antigen, Zeta Polypeptide (TiT3 Complex), CD3zeta Chain, CD3-ZETA, IMD25, CD3H, CD3Q

CD247, also known as T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 zeta chain, is a crucial component of the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. It plays a central role in connecting antigen recognition to intracellular signal-transduction pathways. Low levels of CD247 can lead to a compromised immune response.

Product Description

Recombinant Human CD247, Sf9 is a protein derived from the CD247 gene and expressed in Spodoptera frugiperda (Sf9) insect cells. Belonging to the family of CD molecules, it plays a significant role in T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. With a molecular weight of approximately X kDa, this protein is involved in the assembly and surface expression of the TCR-CD3 complex, which is crucial for proper T-cell activation and immune response. Its recombinant form offers a valuable tool for research purposes, aiding in the investigation of T-cell signaling pathways and related immunological processes.

Product Guarantee

If your product is within its expiration period, and has not performed according to expectations, fill out the sample return form. Return the unused sample frozen, with the auto generated packing slip to the address on the instructions. You will receive a full refund along with a replacement of the unused portion (inclusive of the failed test). Damages do not cover any additional costs incurred for failed experimentation.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
