BCL7C

Alternative Names: BCL7C, B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 7C, B-Cell CLL/Lymphoma 7 Protein Family Member C

B-cell CLL/lymphoma 7C (BCL7C) shares similarities with the N-terminal region of BCL7A protein. The latter is produced by a gene that participates directly in a three-way gene translocation found in a Burkitt lymphoma cell line. However, the specific function of the BCL7C gene remains unknown.

Product Description

Recombinant Human B-cell CLL/lymphoma 7C (BCL7C) is a protein encoded by the BCL7C gene in humans. It belongs to the BCL7 family, which consists of three members (BCL7A, BCL7B, and BCL7C) and is involved in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation and apoptosis. BCL7C has a molecular weight of approximately X kDa and plays a role in the development and progression of certain malignancies. Understanding the function and regulation of BCL7C can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
