ARPC2

Alternative Names: ARC34, p34-Arc, PNAS-139, PRO2446, Actin-related protein 2/3 complex subunit 2, Arp2/3 complex 34 kDa subunit, ARPC2.

Actin-related protein 2/3 complex subunit 2 (ARPC2) is a component of the human Arp2/3 protein complex, which belongs to the Rho family of small GTPases. This protein complex is known to regulate actin polymerization in cells and has been conserved across different species. However, the specific function of the p34 subunit of this complex remains unknown.

Product Description

Recombinant Human Actin Related Protein 2/3 Complex, Subunit 2, is a protein subunit that forms part of the Actin Related Protein 2/3 (ARP2/3) complex. Belonging to the actin family, this protein plays a critical role in cellular processes such as cell motility and cytoskeletal organization. With a molecular weight of approximately XX kDa, it contributes to the nucleation and branching of actin filaments, facilitating the formation of complex actin networks. Understanding the function and structure of Recombinant Human Actin Related Protein 2/3 Complex, Subunit 2 is crucial for comprehending the underlying mechanisms of cellular dynamics and related pathological conditions.

Storage Instruction

Reconstituted store at -20°C or -80°C.We recommend that single use aliquots are prepared to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample Prep Instruction

1. Thaw the vial on ice, spin briefly
2. Prepare single-use or stock aliquots. This stage will depend on your final application so please adapt as appropriate. All our proteins are supplied carrier protein-free. If compatible with your work and you are storing at lower concentrations (<50 ug/ml) adding carrier protein is highly advised (usually 1% w/v high purity BSA or equivalent – ensure all buffers are sterile-filtered).
3. Prepare single-use aliquots whenever possible to avoid freeze-thaw cycles which can damage the proteins and reduce bioactivity. Store aliquots at -70 °C (or -20 °C)
4. We recommend sterile filtering after dilution in media or the final working solution
