AMH, HEK

Alternative Names: AMH, Anti-Muellerian hormone, MIS, Muellerian-inhibiting substance, MIF

AMH, or Anti-Mullerian Hormone, belongs to the TGF-beta family and is a glycoprotein produced by Sertoli cells in the testis. It plays a role in the regression of the Muellerian duct and inhibits the growth of tumors originating from this duct. Additionally, AMH is involved in the differentiation and functioning of Leydig cells, as well as follicular development in adult females.

Product Description

Recombinant Human Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH), HEK is a biotechnologically engineered protein primarily used in reproductive medicine. Belonging to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) family, this protein plays a key role in the regulation of sexual differentiation and folliculogenesis. With a molecular weight of approximately 140 kDa, Recombinant Human AMH, HEK serves as a reliable tool for assessing ovarian reserve and predicting ovarian response in assisted reproductive technologies. Its precise quantification aids in clinical decision-making, allowing for optimized treatment strategies.

Storage Instruction

Store lyophilized protein at -20° C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4° C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4° C.

Sample Prep Instruction

It is recommended to add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely.
